I truly like the phone. It has exceptionally fantastic range (wish my bluetooth headphones had half the usable range this puppy does) charges swiftly all functions work as described.
On the other hand, it does NOT have a headphone jack! I get on 3 hour conference calls, and counted on this as getting a headphone jack. IT DOES NOT. If you are searching for a fine handheld telephone for short conversations without a headset, this is the ticket. If you are looking for an office phone on which you engage in hour+ calls, spend a bit extra and look elsewhere.
So that is what I get for creating assumptions!
Pros: outstanding excellent for price, terrific sound quality for cost, fine range in basement of home installed in basement-have not utilized across levels or outside), clean design, straightforward to push buttons, easy setup, expandable.
Cons: listener on contact complained that voice volume was low, flat design forces telephone to rest either on lips or ears but not both, speaker telephone in handset only not on base (as described- I just like it when it is in the base.)
Significant con: after one phone contact and a single night, the phone base no longer receives power from the AC adapter (or the adapter blew) and the telephone can not be made use of. (the telephone display reads: NO PWR AT BASE and plugging and unplugging the base has no effect on the phone.) Vtech's troubleshooting did not support. I will exchange the telephone- it was good enough for the cost to give it 1 a great deal more try.
